Questions vendors ask

Does claiming change my Trust Index?
No. Claiming gives you control over the profile — it doesn't change the score. Your grade reflects evidence we can verify, not who controls the profile. Only verified actions and resolved complaints move your score.
Can buyers see me before I claim?
Yes. If we have enough verifiable signals, your Trust Index is already visible to buyers. Claiming gives you the controls. It doesn't unhide your record.
Can I hide complaints I disagree with?
No. Complaints stay on the record. You can respond, and a resolved complaint updates the record everywhere it appears. Low-weight or unverified complaints are suppressed from public view automatically.
When do I get the Trust Card?
Trust Card generation activates at the Trusted level for eligible Grade B or higher sellers after the signing and image pipeline is live. Until then, approved vendors can display the standard Verified badge after identity verification.
Is claiming included?
Yes. Handle control is included forever. Identity verification is included with the Pro plan (NGN 6,000/month). Business registration verification is included with the Elite plan (NGN 15,000/month). See Pricing for the full breakdown.
Will my private data be exposed publicly?
No. Verification is a private check between you and us. Buyers only see "Verified" on your profile — never the underlying documents. Public fields only.
